Sandler Endowment Fund Since 1981, thousands of individuals in the United States and Canada have generously supported the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra through the nonprofit organization American Friends of the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra. These donations help to sustain the orchestra’s excellence in music, illuminated every season in over 100 concerts in Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, and Haifa, as well as internationally. Integral to the orchestra’s commitment to the highest quality musicianship is its commitment to fostering a new generation of classical music enthusiasts through its model music education program, KeyNote, which serves over 22,000 Israeli schoolchildren and teachers annually. The KeyNote Program, launched in 2000 with major support from American Friends of the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, continues to burgeon and promote an understanding of mutual respect and tolerance.
