The chapter sheds light on the implications of the intersection between IDD and ethnic origin in various spheres of life in Arab society in Israel, and reviewes the literature regarding Arabs with IDD and their families with reference to stigma, double discrimination, integration in the community, employment, leisure, culture, marriage, and parenting.
