926 As to the development of communication, the purpose of this chapter is to emphasize the important role of early intervention in raising the awareness of parents and caregivers regarding the significant effect that active participation in interactions has on toddlers with DCD and provides them with tools for creating such interactions. In the present chapter, we provide examples of such interaction by analyzing the use of gestures by a toddler with DCD from a structural aspect.
