183 Patrons At the prize distribution ceremony of the first Competition in 1974, Arthur Rubinstein said: “This country has many things to face; so many more difficult than any country in the world just now, and yet, the pride of my heart is that it has never lost sight of culture, of music, of art, of love of life, of high spirit, of magnificent humanity. This is the pride of this country. This is one of the reasons why I love it so dearly, so much and so deeply.” In May 2011, the late P. Gad Naschitz, then Chairman of The Arthur Rubinstein Society, founded a body of Patrons. The purpose of this initiative was to assist the Society in the distribution and promotion of the Arthur Rubinstein legacy. The Patrons support the different activities of the Society by sponsoring the winners of the Competition, by encouraging outstanding Israeli pianists and, of course, in supporting the highlight of the Society’s activities – The Arthur Rubinstein International Piano Master Competition. The Patrons consist of individuals who share a profound love of music and who also acknowledge the importance of Israeli cultural life and believe that the Rubinstein Competition is an example of excellence, representing Israel with great international acclaim. The various events organized by the Society, could not have materialized without the help and support of the Patrons. In recognition of their contribution, the Patrons benefit from private concerts, private receptions, guided tours to different locations in the world, including concerts featuring our prize winners. We invite you to join our circle of supporters, to contribute to one of the world’s acclaimed piano competitions and above all, to be a part of Maestro Arthur Rubinstein’s vision and mission. As Patrons - a donation of ILS 10,000 every three years (per person) or as Friends - a donation of ILS 1,500 every three years (per person) For further information regarding joining the Society’s Patrons, please contact our office: competition@arims.org.il, Tel: +972 (0)3 6856684
