146 Ofir Peres, 16, is a student of Prof. Eitan Globerson and also studied with Prof. Asaf Zohar. He began his studies at the Akadma Conservatory in Ashdod, under the direction of Yanina Kudlik. He participates in the outstanding pianists’ program of the Jerusalem Music Center, including Murray Perahia’s program for outstanding pianists, and also participates in the David Goldman program for outstanding young musicians, playing in chamber ensembles directed by Menachem Wiesenberg. Peres has also participated in many master classes in Israel and abroad, with Craig Sheppard, Jerome Lowenthal, Ursula Oppenes, Ilana Vered, Markus Groh, Leah Agmon, Michal Tal and others. Ofir won several competitions and scholarships: from the America-Israel Cultural Foundation, from the Piano Forever Competition in Ashdod and from the Pnina Salzman Competition, as well as an Outstanding Musician of the City of Ashdod Award. He played as a soloist in concerts with orchestras in Israel and abroad, at the music festival in Perugia in Italy, with the Ashdod Symphony Orchestra, The Jeunesses Musicales Orchestra conducted by Prof. Michael Wolpe, and on open stages at the Jerusalem Music Center. Amir Ron, born in 2001, currently studies at the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music with Prof. Asaf Zohar and Prof. Arie Vardi. He previously studied with Sara Tal at the Givatayim Conservatory. In 2019, Amir graduated from the Thelma Yellin High School of Arts with distinction. Amir is a graduate of the Jerusalem Music Centre programs, among them the prestigious summer course for pianists led by Murray Perahia. He regularly performs as a soloist and chamber musician in venues across Israel, Europe, and America. He served as an "outstanding musician" in the IDF. Amir is a prizewinner of numerous competitions and recipient of the Ronen Foundation, America-Israel Cultural Foundation and Buchmann-Mehta School of Music scholarships with distinction. He won prizes at the "Young Artist" and "Piano Forever" competitions, as well as in the concerto competition at the Tel-Hai International Masterclasses. Amir was a Ravinia Steans Music Institute fellow for 2022. As a soloist, he has performed with orchestras in Israel and Italy, playing concertos by Mozart, Beethoven, Schumann and Chopin, as well as playing recitals.
