181 Friends, loyal supporters, and valued audience, When I was approached about a year ago to become chairman of the Arthur Rubinstein International Music Society, I didn’t hesitate for a moment. As someone from the worlds of entrepreneurship, software, and cyber — all driven by creativity, innovation, and a constant pursuit of excellence – I saw in music the same spark that inspires me in my professional life. Music has always been a home for me. I love it in every way, especially the piano, which has been with me for years and is a source of inspiration and peace. Since I took office, I have been privileged to witness firsthand the impressive work of the Rubinstein Society: the ongoing concert activities, the relentless investment, the young artists who dedicate their lives to music, and the staff who lead everything with exceptional dedication. This year, the 18th International Piano Competition sets a new standard for quality, scope, and impact. Holding a competition at this time, amid a war in the Middle East, is no small feat. I have no doubt that Arthur Rubinstein would have been proud of the ability to continue holding the competition despite all the difficulties and obstacles. My vision is simple and clear: to continually expand our audience, help young men and women discover the magic of music, see our artists succeed on stages in Israel and around the world, and build a community of passionate supporters who will help them grow. I believe that music is more than just art; it acts as a bridge. It connects people from different cultures and generations. This competition is living proof of that. Thank you to everyone who supports, participates, creates, and believes. Together, we will continue to lead the competition and advance the art of piano. Nir Zuk, Chair Arthur Rubinstein International Music Society Greetings
