170 The resonance of the competition continues to grow this year, reaching five musical centers, where the two orchestral final evenings will be screened on large screens for audiences unable to attend the concert hall. The Municipality of Herzliya, Haifa Conservatory, the Municipality of Karmiel, the Municipality of Netivot, and the Municipality of Acre rose to the challenge and mobilized their active music institutions. The initiative, which first took shape at the 15th competition and was highly successful at the 16th and 17th competitions, continues to expand. Audiences in these communities will watch both final evenings and, as at the Tel Aviv Performing Arts Center, will choose their own "Audience Favorite." The pianist selected as Audience Favorite will be invited to perform and to meet with residents after the competition. About half an hour before each concert and during its intermissions, local musical ensembles and soloists will perform live at the local music centers. As in the previous competition, students from conservatories in these communities are invited to attend the early stages to get to know the competitors and deepen their sense of participation in the events. Ministry of Education The Ministry of Education welcomes its cooperation with the Arthur Rubinstein Society. The Rubinstein Competition demonstrates great respect for its audiences. It places significant importance on expanding the circle of supporters within the community, including regions outside central Israel and across all age groups. I am especially pleased that the competition enables audiences to experience the unique energy created in the concert hall between performers and listeners, and I warmly encourage participation in this activity. The Ministry promotes a wide range of activities—listening, performance, and creation—and this collaboration is a fitting expression of these principles. Listening to the musicians participating in the competition serves as a meaningful example for young musicians, and I am confident that it will have an important impact on shaping their musical identity in the future. With regards, Betsalel Kuperwasser, Supervisor for Music (National), Ministry of Education Herzliya Warm congratulations to the pianists participating in the 18th Arthur Rubinstein International Piano Master Competition.
