155 GENERAL ● The 18th Arthur Rubinstein International Piano Master Competition will take place from 27 April to 15 May 2026. Due to the war in the Middle East, Stage I and Stage II will take place at the Kronberg Academy, Kronberg, Germany. The finals will take place in Tel Aviv, Israel. ● The Competition is open to pianists of all nationalities. ● Applicants shall be between 18 and 32 years of age, within the calendar year of the Competition. ● All applications were submitted online via GETACCEPTED.COM, according to the instructions given in the registration brochure. ● All complete applications were screened by the Screening Committee. ● Candidates who studied with a Jury member (not including Master Classes) after 1 August 2025 are not allowed to compete. ● All stages of the Competition will be open to the public. REPERTOIRE STAGE I Recitals (All competitors) Duration of performance: 35-40 minutes STAGE II Recitals (16 competitors) Duration of performance: 50-60 minutes The Competitor may choose the repertoire and decide the playing order of the recital program in Stages I and II, but must include, either in Stage I and/or in Stage II, each of the following: ● A CLASSICAL work ● A ROMANTIC work ● One mandatory piece to be chosen from a list of ten pieces written by Jewish composers from the Holocaust period. The list was disclosed on 1 January 2026. Duration of the pieces: 9 minutes or more. STAGE III Finals (6 competitors) A) CHAMBER MUSIC The Competitor must choose one of the following: Beethoven Piano Trio in G Major, Op. 1 No. 2 Beethoven Piano Trio in E-flat Major, Op. 38, after the Septet, Op. 20 Beethoven Piano Trio in B-flat Major, Op. 97 “Archduke” Brahms Piano Trio No. 1 in B Major, Op. 8 Rules & Regulations
