In 2023, she received the Gloria Artis medal from the Polish government. She is often invited to give masterclasses in many countries, including France, Belgium, Germany, Italy, Spain, Russia, Finland, many cities in the USA, Canada, Argentina, Chile, and Japan. She is often invited as a jury member at international competitions such as Chopin in Warsaw, Long-Thibaud, Clara Haskil, Gina Bachauer, Santander, Maria Canals, and e-competition. She was also the president of the jury at the Hamamatsu International Piano Competition in 2012 and 2015. She has been the president of the Japan Chopin Society for 13 years. She is also the Planning Committee Chair at the Yokohama City International Piano Festival, which celebrated its 40th year last year, 2022, with Martha Argerich. Taiseer Elias Professor Taiseer Elias is a globally renowned oud and oriental violin virtuoso. His extensive career includes performances on prestigious stages locally and internationally, establishing him as a leading soloist in Arabic art music. He has collaborated with such distinguished artists as Ivan Fischer, David Geringas, Wadih El-Safi, Munir Bashir, Itzhak Perlman, Isaac Stern, Paco de Lucia, Zakir Hussain, Hari Prasad Chaurasia, and Ravi Shankar, and has performed as a soloist with major symphony and philharmonic orchestras worldwide. He is recognized as the leading artist in the interpretation and improvisation of classical Arabic music, uniquely unifying it with musical traditions worldwide, including Western musical traditions. Professor Elias has received numerous prestigious awards for his pioneering work in developing a multicultural musical dialect that transcends geographical boundaries. These include the 2005 Jerusalem Foundation Award for Excellence in Performance, the 2009 Frank Peleg Award, the Wurth International Award (Germany), a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Minister of Culture, and Honorary Citizenship and the Key to the City of Buenos Aires (2017). He served as a faculty member at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance, establishing and heading its Oriental Music Department for 17 years, and held an associate professorship at Bar-Ilan University.
